Case studies
The work, in practice.
A look at how Strategy, Storytelling and Systems — guided by the 83 Method — have helped organizations move from complexity to clarity.

Association of Public and Land-grant Universities
Higher education
The challenge
A national association of public universities wanted to strengthen how member institutions serve their students and align campus efforts with shared strategic priorities.
Our approach
We built a strategic roadmap and action plan with communication tools and video learning, designed measurement resources and toolkits for the member network, ran surveys and needs assessments, and coached organizational leaders one-on-one.
What changed
Stronger institutional commitment, greater capacity for measurable outcomes, and tighter alignment between strategy and day-to-day action.

Learfield
SPORTS MARKETING & MEDIA
The challenge
A national media and technology company serving college athletics wanted its culture to match its ambitions — with a strategy, a dedicated team, and leadership behind it.
Our approach
We developed the national strategic plan and framework for a new culture practice — including internal and external communication strategy — ran a culture audit and stakeholder listening sessions, and facilitated workshops and learning conversations for senior leadership and employee groups, capped by a virtual summit with sports industry leaders and prominent athletes.
What changed
A comprehensive cultural framework with dedicated leadership, measurably stronger executive commitment, and learning programs delivered to 1,200 employees.

Disability Rights Tennessee
Advocacy & nonprofit
The challenge
A nonprofit advocating for disabled residents across the state wanted to grow its capacity and strengthen how it recruits, retains, and advances its people.
Our approach
Across a multi-year partnership we created two strategic action plans, facilitated planning and consensus-building sessions with leadership, and led a training and development series that equipped teams with actionable outcomes.
What changed
Strengthened organizational capacity, greater leadership alignment and accountability, and improved recruitment and retention.

Jackson National Life Insurance
Financial services
The challenge
A longtime partner, Jackson looks to us to help build community and strengthen culture across its organization.
Our approach
We deliver strategic facilitation for employee engagement and learning development experiences — designing and leading sessions that help teams pause, question assumptions, and leave with decisions they can act on.
What changed
An ongoing partnership that turns engagement goals into facilitated experiences employees actually carry back into their work.

ICANN
Global internet governance
The challenge
The global nonprofit coordinating the Internet's unique identifiers needed to put community-developed recommendations into practice across its constituent groups worldwide.
Our approach
We led a multi-country communications and engagement strategy across six regions — Kenya, Uruguay, Turkey, Singapore, China, and Belgium. Three threads of work: a communications strategy adapted to local contexts; cross-cultural dialogues among community groups, industry leaders, and policymakers; and a practical toolkit with measurable objectives and regular review cycles.
What changed
A significant increase in community groups reporting on their progress, stronger alignment around a shared framework, and expanded engagement across six countries.
